Guayaquil Ecuador

Guayaquil is Ecuador's largest city and is the epicenter of the nation's economy. Its economic prowess is due in large part to its location at the convergence of the Daule and Babahoyo rivers, just 70 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean with an excellent port and surrounded by thousands of square kilometers of fertile agriculture land.

After suffering years of neglect from bureaucrats and corrupt officials, Guayaquil has taken its future into its own hands. Fueled by an interest in attracting tourists, Guayaquil is now realizing its potential. Guayaquil's renaissance isn't complete but signs of improvement are everywhere. The most obvious indication of the city's rebirth is the urban renewal project Malecón 2000. The newly completed Malecón is a collection of outdoor restaurants, theaters, and parks along Malecón Avenue, which runs parallel to the Guayas River.

Route of the Stars, A Jumping-Off Point for Adventure

Just a short drive from Guayaquil are some of Ecuador's finest beaches and Machalilla National Park, but the most interesting route from Guayaquil crosses the agricultural planes and shoots straight into the Andes Mountains, with spectacular views that passing right next to Chimborazo volcano.

Guayaquil Hotels

We highly recommend the Hampton Inn in Guayaquil. Located in the most important avenue of our city, in the regenerated historic Downtown, just a few meters from touristic attractions like Guayas River, the spectacular Malecon 2000 Harbor, Las Peñas first Guayaquil town, Cathedral, Parks and Museums

In Guayaquil, Hampton Inn ,4 stars, US$176,00
