Arquitecture & Interior Design

"With the Tungurahua in front, the pools and houses seem to hang from the mountain. The design honors its surroundings. Each corner is made for contemplation, for the joy of being in a unique place, with an architecture that respects the mountain, befriending it until become one with it."

"The terrain scarped presents itself more like an opportunity than a difficulty for the architect, who conceives the architecture built in this place like it had always existed there. This feeling overwhelms us from the instant in which we step into this unique place. Site of spectacular visuals and spaces made for guests to enjoy.

The architect achieves his purposes by staying for long periods of time on site, understanding what the mountain is saying, and then making games with voluminous keys. The tiles are getting old and blending with the scenery, this way the architecture achieves resemblance with its surroundings. On the other hand, the interior has strong colors, foliate textures, which will speak of the presence of built and honored space."

What our guests say:

A great retreat! The location, architecture and interior design is some of the greatest we have seen in all of our travels. The art collection and furniture are all first class. The pools and views also were incredible.  A truly fantastic stay!
