Tungurahua Volcano Foundation, created BY LUNA RUNTUN - THE ADVENTURE SPA, is a nonprofit entity, whose aims and ambitions are oriented towards development and sustainability by means of:

1. Protection of the surrounding environment
2. Protection of the Nature
3. Education of the community
4. Care of health in the community

The Foundation has been legally constituated on September  20th, 2001   (Acuerdo # 032 – 2.001”)
