Curriculum Vitae

Olivier Christophe Currat, a swiss national from Gruyères, is a graduate of the famous Lausanne Hotelschool in Switzerland.

He has worked in 5 stars hotels such as the:

• Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Canada
• Hotel Schloss Hugenpoet in Essen, Germany
• Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich, Switzerland, Hotel Al Khozama in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and at the head office of the Amari Hotels and Resorts in Thailand.

In 1993, he and his ecuadorian wife Carmen moved to Baños, (the home town of Carmen) and built LUNA RUNTUN, Adventure SPA. They opened the property in April, 1994

In 1996 they started operating Luna Runtun Adventures (ex Luna Travel) the tour operator specialized in tour in Ecuador.

In 1997, Olivier teached at the San Francisco University hotelbusiness as a hobby for 4 years.

He is at the present stage President of LUNA RUNTUN, Adventure SPA and Luna Runtun Adventures.

Olivier speaks fluently French, German, English and Spanish

Carmen Luna de Currat, is a sales and marketing graduate. At the present stage she is the General Manager of LUNA RUNTUN, Adventure SPA and Luna Runtun Adventures

Carmen speaks fluently Spanish, Swedish and English.

Olivier and Carmen have a daughter, Daphné born in 1998.
